Nothing says welcome to guests than a wonderful bouquet of flowers in the colors of the season.
Light your candles.*
Drop a few ornaments on a tray to bring the color to the table top.
Freesia, alstroemeria, the red pods smell like coffee, and some filler create visual feast for the eyes.
Freesias are my all time, forever and ever, till I die favorite flower.
* burn your pillar candles for at least a couple of hours the first lighting. This will allow the entire width of the candle to be involved, otherwise you simply get a deep, tiny well.
Sorry about the missed post yesterday.. now into day 3 of a 24 hour stomachbug vulture..

Feel better soon! This is all so beautiful, and at least you have the freesias to cheer you up!

Gorgeous tablescape / vignette using Traditioanl hues!!!
Now...swat that bug, shoot that vulture...you have NO TIME to be feeling anything but WELL!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Ugh! Sorry you're not feeling well! Drink a shot of Jack Daniels and chase it with a shot of hot sauce. That'll chase that vulture (and any other unwanted creature!!!) right outta your little body! :-) BEAUTIFUL floral arrangement! LOVE the freesia! I love that you used it to show how Christmas doesn't HAVE to be poinsettias!
