It's time for something new. To put a bit more of 'me' back into the blog. What's going on in my life? What do I think? What do you think? Each Monday, I'll post a picture of the week. Something that is important in my life today. Something that I find appealing,. Something that is pretty. Something that is bothersome. So basically anything.
This week, I'm getting ready to host my bible study group Saturday for a luncheon. The tablecloth, napkins, napkin rings, chargers, plates, glasses and silver are ready. Do you make a list and a timeline for yourself when you entertain? I do, a simple word document calendar (check them out at file>new>calendars>weekly) and then I fit all the pieces of the longer to do list onto that page so that I have a week's worth of to do's. So handy to check everything off. And by parceling to do's out over a week's time, so easy to be relaxed and enjoy your company!
Happy Monday! Many blessings, .......marlis

My list is usually on a "sticky note" feature on the desktop of my Mac...or on the back of an envelope on my kitchen cabinet. Did you notice my one storage trick with goblets? Every other one is turned upside down. I don't do it with really good crystal, but it works great to create extra space with more casual stemware. Give it a try. Thanks for stopping by my post. Hi Marlis,
Yes, the first thing I do is create my list of the final product and then break it down into all the steps necessary to create it. I tried to find the weekly calendar you mentioned, but I didn't find it. Is it in Word or Outook? Dianne
Oh yes, I'm a list maker. If I didn't list it, I would be a hot mess.
And by the way... I love your idea for a Monday feature of the picture for the week.
How wonderful of you to host a bible study luncheon. The attendees are very blessed.
I am a list person too, Marlis. But I have never used a word doc calendar. I'm definitely going to try that. Love your picture too!
I'm sure it will be a wonderful gathering.
Being organized and working ahead will insure that you will enjoy for time too. Smart lady!
I have never used my computer to make a timeline, but I keep a notebook with everything in it.
I just might have to retink this and come into the technological age!
Great post!
