Welcoming in the New Year has been done in pretty much the same way for the last 36 years. The china remains the same, the centerpieces vary, family is constant and the menu has been the same. My youngest calls it "tradition".

Lenox Snow Lily. Our wedding china. The first set was lost in the fire and after much looking and discussion, we went back with the same. We both love the generous pattern around the edges, the sedate gray on the creamy bone china banded by platinum.Sitting on mirror placemats, gifts from my mother in law. Silver trays as chargers. Silver given to me by my grandmother and godmother. Some pieces as old as I am.Monogrammed linen napkins. You too could win a set of 8 with monogram of your choice.. Click HERE!Silver snowflake napkin rings.Vintage wine and of course champagne!A sweet gold and glitter tree to mark your spot. Many silver ribbons tied into bows on the back of the chairs
Chandelier adorned with beaded glass swags and glass snowflakes.Silver trees on a mirrored runner. Tall white candles in clear star shaped candle holders.Interspersed with delightful little creatures.. Snowbabies. These are part of a collection that belongs to one of our sons. When he was little, oh he's so gonna disown me now!!, he wanted to "collect" something too. He loved these little snow people, so his grandmother indulged him. Now I regularly add to the collection in the name of "figment" (grandchild yet to be).
Love these trees!!! the ends are simply crystals that pick up the light and change colors as I hope you can see!
