My newest love is shiny mercury glass!

Pottery Barn.. guess which one I ordered.

Loving this lamp.. 'tis it's fault that got me thinking that for Chris✞mas I'd like to see a wee bit more shiny in our home. I'm feeling especially Chris✞massy this year! PB

From Ballard Designs, an assorted collection of 5 candelsticks.

Also from Ballard Designs, finials. Regan would probably topple these over... frown.

Ballard Designs also has these lovely hurricanes.

Ballard Designs ornaments....

Ballard Designs pedestal. Now how cool would this be for your next get together?

Napa Style has this lovely cloche.. another great serving piece.

From Pottery Barn... some fun candleholders.

How cool this is grouping. Would be so pretty on a New Year's table!

Maybe not mercury glass, but shiny and bright nonetheless. Perfect for a summer evening outdoors. PB!

PB ornament.. snowflakes on mercury glass. okay I'm hooked!

Restoration Hardware.. a lovely specimen indeed.

What are you thinking about adding to the decorations this year?
Something shiny perhaps?

Thank you for your gift of time. I appreciate your visits and comments very much.
I'm linking up to the Tablescaper's Seasonal Sunday party.. See you there!

I love the MG shiny happiness too!!! I am excited to use my Venetian masks on a tree and I bought these beautiful, vintage pink/blue/green ornaments for Kate-Elizabeth's room/tree on EBAY....they're really lovely with all of these rhinestones/pearls.....so delicate and old and pretty....I can't wait to use them!! Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!!! You are such a sweetheart!!!
Love/hugs/blessings,
Lana

I don't have anything but I always want to buy some, I just saw some in the antique store and other home decorating stores. Thanks for the inspiration pics, it makes me want to get some, they look good in all seasons. Happy Sunday.

All of these are stunning. I perso ally don't own any Mercury glass, however I am inspired by all of it's beauty. I wonder if you chose the medium size one. They are all lovely, difficult to choose.

I love it too, my daughter has purchased several pieces of it for Fall and Christmas. I saw a post on Pinterest on how to make your own mercury glass.

I would have guessed that you ordered ALL 3 of the PB vases, but I see that you showed gracious restraint! :-) Mercury glass is so pretty. I could just kick myself a thousand times over for selling a lot of it that I had. At the time, I was just looking to create space. Rats!!! I like the way you were able to insert the cross into the word Christmas. Very cool!!!

I love mercury glass too--thanks for gathering these all up for us in one place (and I'm sure the retailers will thank you too, after we've seen your post!). Lovely settings/great ideas. Thanks!

My Christmas decor is very, very very minimal this year, probably next to nil. I won't be here, will be helping out my daughters with 3 new grandbabies but I don't want the house to look depressed since John will be home. These mercury glass ornaments are gorgeous, Marlis!...Christine
