Let me be thankful... Monday Photo of the week

O Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, And a great King above all gods, In whose hand are the depths of the earth; The peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
Psalm 95:1-6

So let me be thankful that I am healthy enough to rake, mulch and bag all these leaves.

So let me be thankful for God's beautiful paintbrush.

So let me be thankful for the remembrance of the beauty of these flowers during the summer and fall.

So let me be thankful.

So let me be thankful for the leaves that sheltered us from the massive summer heat that are now falling and will allow the winter sun to warm us.

I am thankful for the sun's rays that warm Regan, dance across the fallen leaves that are ankle deep on the patio and put a smile on my face.

I've got a giveaway going on my crafting blog.. so drop in HERE...
Happy Sunday to you. May your blessings be many as you've blessed me by coming by and for each comment left. I'm linking to Seasonal Sundays at the Tablescapers.. cya there!

So many things we don't even think about being thankful for and not all of them are big things as you remind us.

Marlis, as the quote says: "Autumn is the second spring, where every leaf is a flower." Beautiful images.

This is a beautiful way to illustrate both that Psalm and the season. I love the part about being thankful that the leaves that shielded you from the heat of summer have fallen away to let the sun heat you in winter. That was an awesome thought, and you're right!
