"Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh so mellow
When life was slow and oh so mellow
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain so yellow
When grass was green and grain so yellow
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a young and a callow fellow
When you were a young and a callow fellow
Try to remember and if you remember
Then follow--follow, oh-oh."
Then follow--follow, oh-oh."

Oh Marlis, this is so pretty. It looks very relaxing!...Christine
Beautiful ode to the last days of summer!
What a lovely spot to sit and read and just enjoy the end of summer! Thanks for your visit to my table -- you're always a welcome guest!
Marvelous bench...does it stay out in the open year round? It appears that it might have been constructed from repurposed pieces of vintage wood furniture? Thanks for stopping by and for sharing this inspirational vignette. Cherry Kay
You are so sweet leaving me a very comment, Marlis. I have trying to add you on my blog list and somehow, it freezes. I don't know why, but I will keep trying....Christine
