Heirloom Sewing part five

 This was one of the winners in the category. Isn't the detail on the inset darling? 

Love those dimensional flowers.

 A very sweet chiffon dress. Green and pink always looks so fresh!

This is really a precious bubble. Matching hat and booties. 

 I am not sure but this dress might be embroidered with color changing thread. 

 Are ya sittin' down? Really? A 15 year old made this garment.. not one stitch out of place. 

The bonnet is the crowning touch! Another winner in this category.

 I love this little crocheted ensemble!

Another winner in the category. Look at the piping detail! and the sweet embroidery along the hem.

The scale of the embroidery is in perfect proportion of the garment. So lovely.

Heirloom Sewing - part 4

This child's dress won this category..can you see why?

Smocking, embroidery, and the fagoting between the two rows of bias on the collar.. oh my. 

Another gorgeous child's dress with lots of lace shaping and emboidery.

 

 

This dress was made by the same person who made the first piece. Incredible smocking and embroidery.

 This incredible number in wool was absolutely fabulous!

 Love the shaping on the band on the bottom of the dress and sleeves.

 Pink and white always looks so precious. Great embroidery and all the pretty lace.

 Meticulous pintucks and shaped lace on this bishop dress.

Wouldn't this darling sundress be perfect for any sweet little girl?

A gorgeous batiste confection in blue and white.

What a charming ensemble of jacket and dress. I am sure this sweet girl looks precious in her outfit. Shaped hems, embroidery and many machine stitches make up this cutie.
