I went into Hobby Lobby last Saturday. Looking for buttercups for a tablescape, HERE.
Did not find any. But I came across these burlap sunflowers.
With their lacy leaves. Two of these on each stem. See through. Divine.
And I picked up some "meadow" flowers. I'm on a yellow kick. Can you tell?
Pulled out a French looking pitcher to use as a vase. Thinking this was a One Kings Lane purchase.
Look at these petals. Rough cut. so textural.
The centers just swept me off my feet.
I know you need some. You know it too. Oh and if you don't have a Hobby Lobby, I'm sorry.

Sitting in the corner with you. I went to HL looking for something not even related to flowers, and I got enchanted by the burlap ones too!
ReplyDeleteMarlis, I brought home a bouquet of burlap flowers a few weeks ago, but ended up returning them. They were not on sale, wasn't certain I liked them in my McK-C vases for which I'd purchased them, so back they went. They were adorable, but my bill was high for the two vases. May reconsider if I see they put them on sale for half price. ;-)

Oh, I had seen these in a 'high end'decor shop and the price was ridiculous!!! (So much so, that I was trying to decide if I could make them myself!)
Looks like a trip to HL is on my "To Do" List for the upcoming week!!!

ReplyDeleteI Love the burlap flowers, too, Marlis! It's lucky for me that I have several Hobby Lobby's near to me. I love to buy when things are 50% off, which seems like every other week on the various departments.
