Le petit déjeuner à deux tablescape

Bonjour! Bienvenue chez nous. C'est Lundi matin et nous mangeons dans la cuisine.
Good morning! Welcome. It's Monday morning and we are eating in the kitchen.

Adding a tablecloth makes dining so much more festive and relaxed.

Don't these colors remind you of sunny Provence? Down to the cutest little abeilles on the napkin rings.

One soft boiled egg, some oatmeal with blueberries and a fresh, homemade croissant.
Interested?

I love using our antique boiled egg warmer. Add a bit of warm water to the bottom of the
egg shaped container, light a tealight and put the warm eggs in the container.

Un petit pot des fines herbes.

The yellow bowls are some new favorites. The darling salt and peppers were my grandmother's.

Our favorite handmade coffee cups made by my sister-in-law Becky.

I love drinking orange juice out of stems!

My mother made this tablecloth as a child. I do love how primitive the cross-stitch motifs are.

  4. Hey, Marlis! Congrats on #499! Wow...you have been at this for a while! You just keep getting better, baby!!! I have never heard of a boiled egg warmer, but the concept is fabulous! I like nice, warm boiled eggs with a little salt & pepper...so good! Your antique one is cool. I wonder if they make them still? I'll have to Google it. Beautiful colander! I love to see them in mediums other than metal...they're just so pretty! Gorgeous Provencal colors, too!!!! I like the way you showcased each little pattern from the linen. Your Mom would love that!

  19. The hand stitched tablecloth is priceless since your mother stitched it, I have one my Mom hand stitched too, but I haven't used it in a tablescape. I'll have to come up with something. You have any priceless elements from your family such as that boiled egg warmer, I have never seen one before. Your table is lovely and very calming to look at.

  25. Your kitchen is so great, I just love it. And this is one of my most favorite tables that I've seen here, they are all simply stunning but this one really speaks to me, perhaps the yellow/blue combo or that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day xo
