Monday photo of the week - Relaxing by the fire


Both of these guys share the same chair. 
Actually Mr. CJ is just happy that Regan lets him sit there, too.
 We've already had several fires this year.
First one last Thursday.
Another last night.
I love to watch the dancing flames.
Listen to the crackle of the wood.
Smell the scent of oak and pinion.
Feel the heat.
Relaxing.

    Lovely photo. We have our wood-stove on and the cats are all around it in baskets. They love that so much. Happy Halloween.

    How cute. Our Punkin sits on the back of the chair with my husband. I always worry that he's going to fall off. No fires here yet, but I do love them too. Dianne

    My week doesn't promise to be very relaxing, but your picture reminds me that at the end of the day, there is always the option of jammies and a fire if I choose to take it.

    We also love a fire in the fireplace. We don't have many days we need one down south, but when we do we love them. I see your guys really are enjoying your fire.

    One of the things I miss most about living in the Southwest is the smell of the pinion wood fires. Great photo -- both of the subjects look really relaxed and content.
