Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to moms everywhere. No mother has every complained because you call her too much or hug her too often.

Saw this on facebook of all places:
If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me, place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss on her cheek and hold her for a while ♥

Miss you mom! Wish you could see how your great granddaughter's have grown. One is so much like me, it's scary. The other one is more like her dad, your first grandchild. You'd love them both to pieces. Your other grandson has so many stories to tell about you, he keeps your memory alive for all of us. So I set a place just for you today, Oma's dishes, my mother in law's linens, some silver, your favorite blue and white.

  4. Marlis, this is so sweet, it made me tear up. I love your family photo, and the poem from Facebook is wonderful. Your Mom must have been a really special person. I was thinking this week how very fortunate I am not only to have a wonderful mom, but to have the pleasure and honor to be a mom as well. Happy Mother's Day!

what a wonderful tribute to your Mom, Marlis. I really enjoyed to see the Arzberg "Blaublüten" china, one of a never becoming oldfashioned shape and design. Wish you a wonderful Mother's Day, too.

  15. Marlis your poem is so lovely, it made me think of my own Mum who passed away 16 years ago this week, she never got to read the last Mothers Day card that I bought for her.
