Silver, transferware, embossed dishes, dainty napkins, linen overlayed with a crochet tablecloth all provide perfect backdrops. Come on in and stay a while..
Barley twist candlesticks outfitted with candles that look like birch bark. A dough bowl on top of live greenery. Lichen balls, glistening bells and pine cones fill the inside.
Metal reindeer light the way to your seat. I print the place cards myself using picture images and lettering combined in Photoshop software.
In lieu of silver chargers, silver trays re-purposed.
Cherry Kay from Entertaining Women suggested decanters for the table. One with water, one with tea or whatever the beverage of your choice might be. It's been one of the better tips! No more endless treks to refresh drinks.
Dainty antique, lace edged, cutwork, embroidered napkins keep the table from getting too woodsy.
The silver colored serving piece with the sweet bird seemed to fit perfectly!
Don't you just love the look of mixed greens? I wish you could smell their goodness.
Beneath the reindeer place card holder is the snowflake embossed salad plate.
Then the folded napkin.
And the Christmas transferware dinner plate.
Crochet lace on top of dark green linen.

Hi Marlis. The table is lovely, but what really got me is the quote on your sidebar. I am a weaver and love references to the patterns that are our lives. If you don't mind I would like to copy the text. Happy holidays! L
