I already follow. I love the table setting and your Tartan Plaid dishes. They remind me of my Buchanan/Scottish ancestry. The Spode is beautiful with them. My girlfriend has the Spode tree plates too. The flowers are so beautiful. I love going on these Creative Journey's with you. Blessings, Janet
ReplyDeleteOh, Marlis,
ReplyDeleteYour candles and centerpiece are just gorgeous! I love red and white roses with evergreens! That is so pretty. Like your place setting too. Did you embroidery the napkins with holly? They are very pretty. Which leads me to your giveaway! Yes, I would love some napkins!! I am a follower!
Thanks and Merry Christmas!
Sherry
I'm guessing you embroidered those beautfiul holly napkins. You are clever. I bought a free-stitching foot for my Janome machine about a week ago, after being inspired by you! It may not be holly napkins but it's a start in the right direction!!!
ReplyDeleteI already follow you!
Sarahx
Everything looks so charming. I love your candlesticks! Also the beautiful napkins. The ornament by the flowers just sets everything off perfectly. I pray you and your family have the most wonderful Christmas as you celebrate the birth of Jesus!
ReplyDeleteI already a follower. I would love to be a guest at your holiday table. It's delightful!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a delightful tablescape, Marlis. I love everything about it but my favorite are the centerpiece and candlesticks. I love all the dishes you mixed together, really, really, gorgeous table!...Christine
ReplyDeleteThe photo taken from the end of the table with light coming through the window from the left is stunning...just beautiful! Great get on those peg nappies...have you seen how much they can be on replacements? Great arrangements, too. Your table is wonderful. Have a great Christmas feast! Merry Christmas! Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteThese napkins were already embroidered and belong to the matching tablecloth.. the ones you will get will be machine embroidered with the monogram of your choice. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMarlis,
ReplyDeleteThis is a truely gorgeous table. YOu paid great attention to detail.
I LOVE THAT TABLECLOTH. It just is the perfect background for all of your lovely things.
Tartan and Spode Christmas tree is a match made in Christmas heaven. It looks divine together. I am a real tartan fan. We have our own tartan. We are part of the Buchannan clan. So tartan is near and dear to my heart.
I laughted out loud when you said you almost "tinkled" when you found those fabulous candlesticks. I would have too!
YOur table is rich and festive and oh, so elegant.
Merry Christmas!!! May all your family be blessed.
Yvonne
Marlis, this table is absolutely GORGEOUS! I adore the tartan plaid & I would have been apoplectic over finding those peg nappies for that price!!!!! Lucky-Dog!
ReplyDeleteYour Spode china is beautiful. Can you believe one of my tennis team friends brought me a little accent plate in that pattern as a hostess gift? I have it displayed on a plate rack at the top of the baker's rack right now.
Did I ever tell you we had a blue eyed white cat, too? named Snowball..I know, not very original. He was deaf & I understand that is common with them. I hope Regan can hear my Merry Christmas wishes to you & yours!
fondly,
Rett

ReplyDeleteMarlis, Your Christmas table is beautiful!!! Don't you just LOVE that tablecloth? I have the same one from Martha in green in two sizes so it fits my table with or without the leaf, and an apron in the red. I wish she still sold those linens because they were gorgeous! Everything else on your table is so appealing. I am a happy follower and would welcome some monogrammed linens! Linda

Marlis,

Fondly,
Pat
