Pheasantly Fall Tablescape

Thanks so much for dropping in. I had a bit of fun this week trying to show you how beautiful the pheasant feather placemats are that I won from The Twiggery on Susan's Between Naps on the Porch blog. Not only does Susan give us a reason to play with our dishes, but she herself has the most delectable tables to share with you, Houzz updates, and is a magnet for wonderful merchants who want you to get to know them!

When you play with your dishes, don't you feel as if all is right with the world? Does it remind you a bit of tea parties you had in your younger days?

Today, I started with a leaf emblazoned linen tablecloth, light side up, as a base for the table.

I placed these absolutely gorgeous placemats at each seat. I've always wanted a set and never justified them. My husband is even wowed and told me I should have picked them up years ago! Added some rose handled brass flatware.

Added a square wooden plate from Hawaii set on point.

Then a white china salad plate.

A monogrammed napkin, monogrammed on my Bernina sewing/embroidery machine using an embroidery font from Embroidery Arts

Added a golden hued wine glass and a Mikasa goblet.

A wooden centerpiece filled with outdoorsy finds

Napkin rings of wood and brass hold the napkins in check.

Added tassels to the chair backs

All came together to play their part in this pheasantly fall tablescape.
