The name -- of it -- is "Autumn" --
The hue -- of it -- is Blood --
An Artery -- upon the Hill --
A Vein -- along the Road --
Great Globules -- in the Alleys --
And Oh, the Shower of Stain --
When Winds -- upset the Basin --
And spill the Scarlet Rain --
It sprinkles Bonnets -- far below --
It gathers ruddy Pools --
Then -- eddies like a Rose -- away --
Upon Vermilion Wheels --
The hue -- of it -- is Blood --
An Artery -- upon the Hill --
A Vein -- along the Road --
Great Globules -- in the Alleys --
And Oh, the Shower of Stain --
When Winds -- upset the Basin --
And spill the Scarlet Rain --
It sprinkles Bonnets -- far below --
It gathers ruddy Pools --
Then -- eddies like a Rose -- away --
Upon Vermilion Wheels --

I will be linking to The Tablescaper on Sunday for Seasonal Sunday. Be sure to run over and check out some of the other wonderful posts!
How fun! Don't you just love this time of year? Love the two little ones at their own table. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteThe little ones are adorable!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your win!

I love the autumn.
ReplyDeleteGreat mosaic. Reminds of the wonderful post you did of the party you had for your husband. But, what I'm really enjoying is your background. That's a shot from the party too, right? How did you do that?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for being a part of Seasonal Sunday!
- The Tablescaper
Emily Dickinson is my very favorite female poet. Robert Frost would be the male.

OOh wow, you noticed. It's actually a shot from the tablescape. I use blogger as does the divine Tablescaper.. so go to the top right of the screen and click on design to the left of sign out. (okay, sign in first). then on the design tab, select template designer, go to background (on the left; down arrow on the background image and then it will allow you to upload an image. I don't check the scroll with page. It seems to not be working too well or it's working and I don't like it..
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking.. thanks for stopping by.
