Inspector Regan has given his seal of approval. He also apologizes on my behalf for the picture heavy post. I did keep the words to a minimum!
Tea cups inherited from my mother -in-law. they are beautifully made and match the dishes pretty closely.
I loved the wraps on the chopsticks, so made them removable!
Salad plate, rice bowl, soup bowl.

Tea pot with crackle finish glaze and gold trim.
Bamboo placemats
Time to light the candles.. added a fan to the center floral arrangement.

ReplyDeleteEvery detail is carried out to perfection. I'm so glad it was a "picture heavy" post so we could see it all. I was trying to notice different things in each shot. I love those hand painted napkins the best of all, but the whole table was a treat for the eyes.

We often have Japanese food at home-we love it! We set out table with some lovely blue and white pieces that my sister bought for us when she living over there for a year.

ReplyDeleteI was truly transported. I felt like I was at a gorgeous restaurant in Japan. Everything was so tastefully put together and all of the elements absolutely complemented each other. Wonderful job. Now I want to sit down and have a wonderful Japanese meal that you have prepared!
