Welcome to my warren. The weather's bright and sunny, perfect for an outing. Don't I look familiar?
The missus pulled out the cabbage plates, oh she knows how I love to chew on those leaves!
Paired them with some fancy china, nito chargers and placed all the finery on a Matelasse tablecloth.
A table fitting for the one who just barely escaped MacGregor's garden, wouldn't you say?
Don't you want to come join us, the missus and me? I harvested some of the fruits of MacGregor's labor just for you.
We are quite a happy bunch, Ms. Sel and Mr. Poivre and myself.
Surrounded by eggs of many colors on some shaved wood Easter "grass", I am pleased to head up this fine table.
The missus made these herself. Made out of something called variegated thread and styrofoam eggs. Doesn't she know that my cousins will around on Sunday? Instructions HERE.
The menu is still up in the air... what would you like?
I think it will be carrots for me. Makes my eyesight all the better, you know.
Some high falutin' snowdrops in a pot.. Quite faux you know. But will do in a pinch.
It actually wasn't a warren of rabbits that made that mess behind the table, it was something called plumbers, a jovial sort. MacGregor would have loved those guys.. he just thought I made a mess.
Double napkins in a nito ring. Doesn't the sweet chartreuse button flower make a dashing appearance?
Thanks for dropping by. I loved your company. I wish you a blessed Easter, with enough time to reflect on the real reason we celebrate this day.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely table. The Easter eggs are beautiful, all of them. It's a wonderful time of year to decorate. Deb
ReplyDeleteI've been toying with the cabbage leaf chargers, too...haven't finalized the table, yet. Your bunny is a really special piece. You've done a wonderful job of maximizing a small table setting. I often find that more of a challenge than doing a large table. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Happy Easter! Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteHi Marlis! I love your sweet table. All the sweet bunnies and lovely dishes.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a blessed Easter.
be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
Beautiful Marlis! There is something special about an outdoor table setting. Spring is perfect for this, and I love how you set this up. Under the tree "the missus" did a lovely Easter/Spring table. I love those cabbage plates, hope they don't get little nibbles from the bunnies outside!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter……..
~Emily
Lots of happy bunnies will gather at your pretty warren table!

Beautiful table & setting Marlis! I love your carrot-snacking bunny as your centerpiece and your cabbage plates paired with your bowls! Wishing you a joyful Easter :)
ReplyDeleteThis is just the table I need for Easter Sunday. I think Ramon and I will be going it alone on that day, and this would be perfect for that intimate celebration. Never would have known the snowdrops were faux! Our money has been super tight around here over the last year, so I have taken to using good fauxs whenever necessary. As long as they're undetectable like yours, I say, "Right on!"
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful outdoor setting. It is calling to me...
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Marlis,
ReplyDeleteOh My That is SUCH A HANDSOME big Bunny! We just can't have too many bunnies! I "LOVE" your table. It's so quaint and Spring like!
